One of the reasons I always recommend investing with people that you actually know (or have some type of connection/relationship with). I have always been leery of investing with some big company that I have zero connection to. One of the reasons I started this network was to be able to grow connections and invest with people that I can put a little more trust in. I would put my money on a military/veteran any day over some big corporation that has little to no interest in anything but the bottom line.
